Manufacturer's note
Optical imperfections that look like scratches are not a sign of use. They are normal for ABS plastics, where the flow of the plastic isn't perfectly even. It doesn't affect how the product works. If you find fine hair-like fibers in the packaging, that too is just a by-product of manufacturing, created when the clip is cast from the mould.
One last thing – how do I work out which size to choose?

Take hold of your hair as if you were about to tie it into a ponytail. Not too tightly, but tightly enough that it holds together without a problem. Using the picture shown, pick the approximate size of your grip and slide your fingers, still holding the hair, from the roots down towards the ends. At the end, the hair should slip through the space you've made with your fingers without a problem. As a rule, the shorter your hair, the bigger the Puff Cuff you'll need. The MINI size matches the position where your thumb and index finger form an imaginary O, with the tips of the two fingers touching.
